Since 2013, Spring Foundation and the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art have jointly sponsored the “Spring Project” lecture series. Diverse topics from issues in contemporary art, artistic creativity, curatorial practice, art history, and museums, to architecture and culture, are all explored from the perspective of the “contemporary.” National and international curators, creators, and critics from a variety of disciplines are invited to participate in discussions. The lecture series draws on the content of on-site discussions to stimulate the reproduction of expertise. This content is also compiled and organized for publication, which contributes to the construction of a research archive on Taiwan’s contemporary art, and forges links for international exchange and networking. Spring Project hopes to broaden perspectives on the discussions of contemporary culture by working with a variety of arts organizations at home and abroad in 2015.
